Richland Library is thrilled to welcome award-winning Historian David Shields alongside South Carolina Chef Ambassador Kevin Mitchell, as they discuss cultural histories of native ingredients, the evolution of dishes, and the variety of preparations that have emerged.

Join us for Meet the Authors: Chef Kevin Mitchell and Historian David Shields from 6:30 -7:30 p.m., Thursday, December 9 via Zoom. The online program, which is free and open to the public, is geared toward adults, seniors, and teens (12-18 years).
