Richland Library Schedules Pigskin Poets On 7/21

Are you ready for some football? Richland Library is teaming with the Gamecocks for the 25th annual Pigskin Poets from 10:30 – 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 21 on our Facebook PageWhile the beloved annual program, which is free and open to the public, is taking place online, we’re showcasing a special vantage point inside Williams Brice Stadium.

Put on your garnet and black gear, Then get ready to cheer and hear from student athletes on the University of South Carolina’s football team as they share stories. Here’s the official roster for this special virtual storytime:

  • Jason Brown, Quarterback
  • Jake Helfrich, Quarterback
  • Colin Henrich, Offensive Line
  • Debo Williams, Linebacker

Pigskin Poets, led by local storyteller Darion McCloud, supports childhood literacy and reinforces the importance of setting and reaching goals.
