(Columbia, SC) – Calling all young creatives who enjoy writing and illustrating, the road to becoming a published author, artist or photographer starts at Richland Library. Richland Library is accepting submissions to Kids in Print 2026, an annual literary magazine, which showcases the talents of young people across the Midlands.
Children and teens, ages six to 18, are encouraged to submit their poetry, stories, essays, short plays, drawings, and photographs to the library. The deadline for submission to the 31st edition of Kids in Print is Friday, January 13, 2026.
Richland Library staff received over 300 submissions for the 30th Edition of Kids in Print and selected over 50 contributors. To begin their journey to becoming one of the 2025 contributors, children and teens can submit their submission form and work by emailing it to KidsInPrint@RichlandLibrary.com.
