Richland One Communications Team Wins 11 State PR Awards

The Richland One Office of Communications received 11 awards from the South Carolina Chapter of the National School Public Relations Association (SC/NSPRA) for outstanding communications and public relations efforts.

The awards were presented May 1 during SC/NSPRA’s 2026 Rewards for Excellence Awards Ceremony at the Phillips Market Center at the State Farmers Market in West Columbia.

Richland One’s Communications team received 11 publications and electronic media awards, including a Best in Show award.

“I am extremely proud of the work that our team does every day in telling the Richland One story and keeping our stakeholders informed,” said Karen York, Richland One’s executive director of communications. “We are honored to receive recognition for our work from our peers.”
