Sen. Marlon Kimpson to speak at 2020 Democratic National Convention

South Carolina state senator Marlon Kimpson will be one of the speakers at this year’s Democratic National Convention.

Senator Kimpson will be one of 17 up-and-coming Party rock stars, who will be giving a keynote address at the convention.

The 17 democrats will give a speech about the night’s theme, which is “Leadership Matters,” according to the Democratic National Convention Committee.

Kimpson is the senator for South Carolina’s 42nd Congressional District, which consists of parts of Dorchester and Charleston counties.
