(Columbia, SC) – Senator Tameika Isaac Devine will host a community Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, June 4 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Meeting Place Church, 201 Columbia Mall Boulevard, Suite 201, Columbia, South Carolina, 29223, highlighting updates on South Carolina Redistricting efforts. This event is free and open to the public.
Community members, advocates, and political novices are encouraged to join in an open discussion to learn about how district lines are drawn and the impact those decisions have on representation, voting power, and communities across the state.
The discussion will feature a distinguished panel of experts, including:

· Kara P. Simmons, SC Counts 2020
· Lynn Teague, League of Women Voters of South Carolina
· Courtney Thomas, Political Director, ACLU of South Carolina
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the redistricting process, recent developments affecting electoral maps, and how residents can remain informed and engaged in shaping the future of their communities.
