(Columbia, SC) – The highly anticipated Taste of Lake Murray 2025, presented by Lexington Medical Center, is set to take place on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the DoubleTree by Hilton Columbia. This annual event serves as the sole fundraiser for Lake Murray’s Independence Day Celebration, ensuring the continuation of South Carolina’s largest fireworks display.

Attendees will enjoy live music from the renowned Band of Oz on the main stage and The Reggie Sullivan Band on the outdoor stage. The evening will feature a diverse array of culinary delights prepared by some of the region’s most talented chefs. Guests are invited to sample these offerings and vote for their favorite chef, who will earn a coveted spot on Team Lake Murray Country at the 2025 World Food Championships.

In addition to the culinary experience, the event will host a silent auction and raffle, offering attendees the chance to bid on exclusive items and win exciting prizes. The raffle drawing will be announced via Facebook LIVE at 9:00 PM; winners need not be present to claim their prizes.

Tickets are currently available at $125 per person and include event entry, food from all vendors, and beverages such as beer, wine, tea, water, and assorted sodas. Guests must be 21 or older to attend. Wristbands can be picked up at the Lake Murray Country Visitors Center starting March 1, 2025, or at WILL CALL on the evening of the event. Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for other Lake Murray Country items.

For those unable to attend but wishing to support the Independence Day Celebration, donations can be made through the “Adopt-a-Firework” program online at lakemurrayfireworks.com or in person at the Lake Murray Country Visitors Center, located at 2184 N. Lake Drive, Columbia, S.C. 29212.
