National Walk at Lunch Day 2015 – Wednesday, April 29, 2015 from 11 am-2 pm at State House Grounds, 1100 Gervais St., Columbia, SC.  On Wednesday, April 29, local Blue Cross and Blue Shield companies, businesses large and small and state legislatures across the nation will encourage employees to wear comfortable shoes and take a walk at lunch.

Schools also are encouraged to participate in National [email protected] Day by setting personal goals for students and teachers, and incorporating walking into the school day as a first step toward long-term prevention of health problems for future generations.


Bridal Cocktail Soiree – Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at City Art, 1224 Lincoln St., Columbia, SC. Enjoy a fashion show featuring the latest bridal gowns and special occassions dresses for the season while sipping on cocktails and savory bites in a beautiful art gallery.
