South Carolina State Fair – October 8th – October 19th 2014 located at South Carolina State Fairgrounds, 1200 Rosewood Dr., Columbia, SC 29201. Annual fair held each October in Columbia. Includes agricultural displays and competitions, rides and amusements, musical entertainment, and more.

Thursday

The Red Gayla Affair – Thursday October 9th 2014 from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Trustus Theatre, 520 Lady Street, Columbia, SC 29201. This An evening at Trustus is a continuing celebration of two decades of the SC Hiv/Aids Council that will consist of a cabaret show of female impersonation. Schac has taken pride in embracing diversity and supporting and collaborating with the population it serves. On Thursday, October 9, 2014, theater attendees will enjoy the masterful presentations of Samantha Hunter, Paris LeFaris and others who not only believe in the mission of our organization, but also enjoy this celebrated form of LGBT culture.
