USC to Host Walk-On Tryout in February for Football Team

(Columbia, SC) – The University of South Carolina’s football program is opening its doors to aspiring athletes with an upcoming walk-on tryout session.

Scheduled for Thursday, February 15, the tryout presents an opportunity for students keen on joining the university’s football team. The event will take place from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Jerri and Steve Spurrier Indoor Practice Facility, located at 76 National Guard Road, Columbia, SC 29208.

To be eligible for participation, individuals must be current full-time students at the University of South Carolina. An informational walk-on meeting is set for Friday, February 2, at 5 p.m. within the Indoor Practice Facility.

Prospective participants are required to bring their Carolina Card to the informational meeting. Crucial details concerning the tryout format and necessary documentation will be provided during the session. Attendees need not bring practice attire, helmets, cleats, or other equipment to the informational meeting.
