(Washington, D.C.) — VoteVets has announced a $300,000 digital advertising campaign in support of Nancy Lacore’s congressional campaign in South Carolina’s 1st Congressional District.
The ad, titled “Same Oath,” is scheduled to run over the next five weeks ahead of South Carolina’s congressional primary. According to VoteVets, the campaign will appear across digital platforms, including social media, YouTube, streaming channels, podcasts and digital audio.
The ad highlights Lacore’s 35 years of military service, including her career as a Navy helicopter pilot and her role as a three-star admiral and Chief of Navy Reserve, where she was responsible for leading more than 60,000 sailors.
VoteVets says the ad focuses on Lacore’s commitment to lowering costs for Lowcountry families, improving government accountability and supporting those who have served the country.
Earlier this year, VoteVets announced its endorsement of Lacore in the SC-01 congressional race.
The organization describes itself as the first and largest group of Democratic veterans in America, with more than 1.5 million veterans, military family members and supporters. According to the release, VoteVets spent $50 million in the last election cycle supporting endorsed candidates.
