Who Are Our Subscribers

3 mins read

The MinorityEye is the trendiest and most innovative publication in South Carolina’s media market. There, we said it.

It’s a little uncomfortable saying that about ourselves but the numbers speak for themselves. For example, we have over 400,000 subscribers, which makes us the largest minority-focused media outlet in South Carolina. We produce a series of cool and fun to read weekly Mobile Publications that deliver the latest news and updates about events, people, and issues that are impacting minority communities in the Midlands right to our subscribers email or as a text message to their mobile device. And not to brag, but our open rates are double that of the industry average; probably because of the added embedded video feature. We call it ‘Eyecasting’. If you haven’t noticed by now it’s all about branding with us.

Our subscribers are local trendsetters. They’re the ones who’ve reached their 5,000 friends limit on Facebook. They’re the ones with over 10k followers on Twitter and Instagram.

Boring I know. You’re still waiting to find out what makes our publications so cool an innovative. The answer is, Our Sub’scrEye’bers. What else?

Our subscribers are local trendsetters. They’re the ones who’ve reached their 5,000 friends limit on Facebook. They’re the ones with over 10k followers on Twitter and Instagram. They’re the ones who are constantly inviting you to their cool events on Facebook, they’re always posting about the new book they just wrote or going live on Facebook to share information about that new product launch or event they’re going to be speaking at. Yeah I know, we think they’re pretty cool too.

But perhaps the coolest thing about our subscribers is their diversity. They’re seasoned professionals who are decision-makers for some of the most influential companies in South Carolina and the southeast.

They’re young professionals who are on their way to becoming the future shot callers in their perspective industry. They’re young political upstarts who are change agents fighting to make a difference in the world. They’re ridiculously motivated entrepreneurs who have founded some pretty spectacular businesses and social enterprises.

If you’re still reading this, I’ll assume that you want to get your brand, event, issues or product in front of our influential subscribers, so let’s talk business.
