The Wiley Kennedy Foundation, in partnership with Bible Way Church of Atlas Road’s Men’s Ministry, will host the 2026 Health Initiatives for Men Conference, known as H.I.M. 2026, June 5-7 in Columbia, South Carolina.
The weekend conference is designed to address health disparities affecting men and young males by connecting them with trusted healthcare professionals, preventive health education, practical resources, and real conversations about wellness.
Events on Friday, June 5, and Saturday, June 6, will be held at Columbia College, located at 1301 Columbia College Drive. The conference will open Friday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a reception, dinner, a panel discussion on mental health featuring Bishop Eric Freeman, and a keynote conversation with former NBA player and analyst Chris Webber.
On Saturday, June 6, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., attendees will take part in informational sessions, health checks, and discussions focused on men’s health, preventive care, mental health, work-life balance, and other issues affecting men and families. Saturday’s event will include a continental breakfast, lunch, free swag, and opportunities for “real talk” around health and wellness.
A Teen Health Summit for boys ages 13-17 will also be held during the conference on Saturday, June 6, at Columbia College. The summit will focus on mental health, stress, anger, social media, decision-making, goal setting, and positive male development. The teen summit will also include coaches, role models, and community leaders who understand the challenges facing young men.
The conference will conclude Sunday, June 7, at Bible Way Church of Atlas Road during the 8:00 a.m. worship service, followed by a men’s breakfast from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Dr. Cedrek McFadden will serve as the guest speaker during the breakfast.
Conference tickets are $40 and include meals and supplies. Teen Health Summit tickets are $20 and also include meals and supplies.
