Intimate Fireside Chat with Notable USC Alumnae, Jotaka Eaddy and Marva Smalls, at 2nd Annual “Coming Full Circle” Event

(Columbia, SC) – The University of South Carolina’s College of Arts and Sciences is set to host the 2nd annual “Coming Full Circle” fireside chat featuring distinguished alumnae, Jotaka Eaddy and Marva Smalls. The event is scheduled for October 4.

Jotaka Eaddy, known for spearheading the “WinWithBlackWomen” movement, will lead an engaging discussion alongside Marva Smalls. “Coming Full Circle” aims to bring accomplished Black women leaders to campus, providing a platform for reflection on their leadership journeys and inspiration for others to follow suit.

The event is open to the public and free of charge. While walk-ins are welcome, pre-registration is recommended to secure a seat. Check-in will commence at 5:00 p.m., and all attendees are requested to be seated no later than 5:45 p.m. The program will commence promptly at 6:00 p.m. It is important to note that the event will be recorded, and registration implies consent to being filmed.

Getting There

The Johnson Performance Hall is located on Level 1 of the Darla Moore School of Business. Guests are highly encouraged to enter through the stairs at the corner of Park Street and at the corner of the Coliseum, to the main floor/Level 1. For accessible users, please take the elevator located at the bottom of the stairs at the corner of Park Street and the Coliseum to level 1, follow signs to the entrance of the Johnson Performance Hall.

Parking convenient to Johnson Performance Hall is available in the Innovista city parking garage located at 821 Park Street (parking fees apply). Several city parking garages are located in the vicinity. Garages/parking spaces are available on a first come, first serve basis.
